FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTiONS

Do I need a Sam's Club membership to have an eye exam?

No, you do NOT need a membership to have an eye exam.  Although we are conveniently located within Sam's Club, our optometry office is open to the general public.  Door greeters will happily direct you to our office.  Upon completion of the eye exam, all patients receive a written copy of their prescription.

Are appointments required?

Scheduled appointments are recommended.  However, we do accept patients on a walk-in basis whenever possible.  We strive to accommodate most appointment requests and can often see patients with urgent medical issues within 1-2 business days.

What insurance plans are accepted?

We accept selected VISION plans:

  • Avesis

  • VSP (Vision Service Plan)

  • United Healthcare

  • Spectera

  • Superior Vision

  • Davis Vision

  • NVA (National Vision Administrators)

  • MES Vision

  • AlwaysCare

What if I don’t have vision insurance or don’t see my plan listed?

Our reasonable fees for professional services means that even patients who are paying out-of-pocket can afford quality eye care from an experienced doctor.

Why do I need a yearly eye exam?

Since many eye diseases have almost no symptoms, early detection is critical to limiting and at times preventing vision loss.  During your comprehensive eye exam, the doctor will assess any vision change and detect sight-threatening ocular conditions that can develop, unnoticed by you.  So even for people who appear otherwise healthy, we recommend an annual eye examination.
